Where Social Networking Fits into Corporate Learning and Development

From LinkedIn, Facebook, and MySpace to Twitter, Digg, and many others … there’s an explosion in both the number and notoriety of Web tools designed to support and enhance our ability to form social connections.

About the Presenters:
Chris Howard, Ph.D., is a principal analyst at Bersin & Associates. Truly one of the pioneers of the e-learning industry, he has an extensive background in learning and enterprise systems technology. Over the last five years, Howard has worked with hundreds of customers in the deployment of online learning solutions. Recently, he has published The 7-Step Approach to Selecting an LMS, Best-practices in Leadership Training, Application Simulations: What Works, and Content Integration Challenges.
David Mallon directs research in enterprise learning for Bersin & Associates. He has more than a decade of experience in corporate learning strategies, programs and processes and the selection and implementation of learning and performance solutions and related technologies. Prior to joining Bersin & Associates, Mallon led the consulting services practice at Learn.com, where he and his team assisted hundreds of clients with the integration and alignment of solutions to critical business objectives.
Nicholas Igneri leads the Learning Technology group at American Management Association and is instrumental in the design, implementation and management of AMA’s Blended Learning program. Previously, Igneri held leadership positions at Docent, now SumTotal, as Director of Professional Services; and VitesseLearning, as VP of Learning Solutions.
