One-Day Sexual Harassment Workshop for Managers

Seminar # 67702

Overview

Most of an average day is spent at work and many of our most important relationships are those we establish with co-workers. What is deemed an appropriate or inappropriate relationship is often difficult for people to decipher and, even more so, determine when someone has "crossed the line" of acceptable behavior. This is an important topic of discussion in offices across the country. Many states as well as the federal government have laws that define when someone has "crossed the line."

To be productive in the workplace and to be an effective manager, it is important to be aware of when you or someone has crossed the line and established an inappropriate relationship. Managers should not only be aware of their rights to be free from inappropriate behaviors, but also know how to protect their employees and supervise within the bounds of the law.

Product Description

In this one-day workshop, managers learn what constitutes sexual harassment in the workplace (and what does not), their rights and responsibilities-whether they are a victim or an observer of such practices-and company policies and procedures for handling sexual harassment complaints. Further, managers learn of their responsibilities for acting on sexual harassment complaints under the law and with respect to their company’s policies and procedures..
